| • | Fry all the grind ingredients with little oil and make a paste. |
| • | Add ground coconut into the paste. |
| • | Boil urad dal, chana dal with 1 cup of water. |
| • | Take a pan and heat oil. |
| • | Add mustard seeds, curry leave in the oil and allow it to splutter. |
| • | Add onion and fry it till brown. |
| • | Put brinjals and fry it for a min. |
| • | Add the grinded paste with water into the brinjal. |
| • | Put chili powder, salt and turmeric powder and let it cook for 10 min till the masala & brinjal get cooked. |
| • | Add tamarind juice and give it a boil. |
| • | Mix it till oil separates. |
| • | Garnish it with coriander leaves. |
