Ingredients:
• 500 grams Round Potato ( Aloo) • 125 grams Onion Paste • 30 grams Ginger Paste • 1 ½ tsp Red Chili Powder • ½ tsp Garam Masala Powder • 1 ½ tsp Turmeric Powder • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds ( fry the seeds and make a powder ) • 5 Cardamoms • 2 Sticks Cinnamon • 6 Cloves • 4 tsp Lemon Juice • 25 grams Fresh Coriander Leaves ( Chopped) • ½ tsp Sugar • 50 grams Curd • Oil • Salt ( to taste)
How to make Dum Aloo Punjabi:
Boil and peel off the potatoes and keep in soak it in salt water for half an hour.
After half an hour is fry it in oil until potatoes become brown and keep it aside.
Take oil in pan and add clove, cinnamon, cardamom and fry it for an 2 min.
Add onion paste keep on mix for 6 min till oil come to the sides.
Add ginger paste and mix it well for 2 min.
Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and fry it for another 2 min.
Beat the curd and add the curd into that pan.
Reduce the flame and add the potatoes.
Cover the lid and cook the potatoes until it becomes soft.
Now add Garam Masala Powder and mix it well.
Finally add lemon juice and coriander leaves.Swtich off the flame.
Serve it.
